DAY 1 : HANOI – ARRIVAL     (-/-/-)
Arrive at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel. A transfer in VIP vehicle / limousine (BMW series 7, Mercedes S-Class or similar) can be arranged at surcharge.
Check into the hotel (check-in time at 14:00 hrs) and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or join our interesting optional excursions in and around Hanoi.

Optional: Enjoy a relaxing 60-minute massage at Le Spa du Metropole.

DAY 2 : HANOI AND SURROUNDING CRAFT VILLAGES (B/L/-)
RED RIVER DELTA CULTURAL INSIGHTS
Visit the famous Bat Trang pottery village situated approximately 15 km outside of Hanoi, surrounded by fertile farmland. Watch the artisans forming, painting and glazing their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns.
Continue to Kieu Ky, another traditional craft village well-known for production of thin gold leaves and leather-made goods. Drive along the scenic Duong River dyke road to But Thap Pagoda. Built in the reign of King Tran Thanh Ton (1258-1278), the pagoda is well-known for the traditional Vietnamese art of wood carving and sculpture.
Your next stop is at Dong Ho traditional block printing village, located on the banks of the Duong River in Bac Ninh province. There are only a few families left who still engage in traditional craft. Other skilled and dedicated artisans have turned to producing paper offerings of all possible sizes and shapes. In fact, this craft can now be seen all over the village.
Have lunch in Bac Ninh, enjoy Quan Ho Folk songs and then continue to Thanh Chuong Mansion, home of a famous artist. Situated on a gravelly bare hill lies this Realm of Vietnamese cultural legacy, “created by the dream, the will, the love and the great talent of Thanh Chuong, a leading artist of Vietnamese contemporary art.”
Thanh Chuong Mansion is more than “just a museum” or a mere collection of Vietnamese ancient houses and antiques.

DAY 3 : GOOD MORNING HANOI – HANOI CITY TOUR  (B/-/D)
GOOD MORNING HANOI
Enjoy the romantic flower market and join the locals in their morning Tai Chi and aerobics around the beautiful Hoan Kiem (Turtle) Lake. End your active morning with a bowl of “pho” – the traditional breakfast noodle soup – and a strong Vietnamese coffee or tea. Return to the hotel for refreshing and breakfast.

HALF DAY HANOI CITY TOUR
Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and during the entire months of September & October) and his former residence (closed on Monday and Friday), One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam and built more than 1,000 years ago. Afterwards, continue to Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the Ngoc Son Temple.

Have dinner at Nineteen Eleven Restaurant. Drawing on the history of the building – the Opera House – and the people connected to it, 1911’s provides an elegant, yet informal, dining experience based around International and Vietnamese cuisine. For wine aficionados, the wine cellar has an impressive collection of wines to browse and select from.

DAY 4 : HANOI – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Transfer to Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight. A transfer in VIP vehicle / limousine (BMW series 7, Mercedes S-Class or similar) can be arranged at surcharge.

If departure is in the afternoon or evening, you are welcome to join our interesting optional excursions in and around Hanoi at surcharge.

We would highly recommend a cruise in Halong Bay on a luxurious vessel. For beach lovers, we suggest a beach extension at luxury resorts in Danang / Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet / Mui Ne, Phu Quoc Island or Con Dao Island.

CANCELLATIONS
• Refunds will not be given for unused or cancelled services after the tour arrangements have commenced.

• FIT (Individuals): Cancellation charges are calculated from the day the written notification is received by the company or agent as a percentage of the net total tour price as shown plus any surcharges (e.g. ticketed air sectors, other penalties imposed by suppliers such as hotels):
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  According to the costs incurred will be charged
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 25% of package price
• Between 14 days and 8 days prior to departure: 50% of package price
• Between 07 days and 2 days prior to departure: 75% of package price
• 1 day prior to departure or no show:   100% of package price

• GIT (Groups): Cancellation of tours due to minimum number of participants will be advised 6 weeks before departure of the tour; in which case Happy Go Travel will offer an alternative tour of a similar standard or a full refund. Cancellation policy for GIT bookings will be advised separately case by case.

• HOTEL ONLY
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  no charge
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 60% of accommodation price
• Between 14 days and 0 days prior to departure: 100% of accommodation price

• Certain Hotels impose stricter cancellation policies which will be advised separately.
