DAY 2 HANOI – FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

FULL DAY HANOI CITY TOUR

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and during the entire months of September & October) and his former residence (closed on Monday and Friday), One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam and built more than 1,000 years ago.

Continue the city tour to one of the following museums (Note that museums are closed on Mondays.):
• Fine Arts Museum
• History Museum
• Revolutionary Museum
• War Museum
• Museum of Ethnology
• Hoa Lo Prison Museum

After a delicious lunch at Au Lac restaurant enjoy a leisurely one-hour cyclo tour through Hanoi. Visit the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.  Hoan Kiem Lake was already considered the most beautiful lake in Hanoi when Ngoc Son Temple was built on an island in the 19th century. Initially, the temple was called Ngoc Son Pagoda and was later renamed Ngoc Son Temple, since temples are dedicated to saints. Saint Van Suong, considered to be one of the brightest stars in Vietnam's literary and intellectual circles, was worshipped there along with other National heroes.

DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON PARADISE PEAK (B/L/D)

Pick up at the hotel and drive to Halong Bay. At noon, arrive in Tuan Chau Island. Relax at the Paradise Café while your personal butler will come to meet you to discuss on your cruise itinerary. He will then help you to check-in and accompany you aboard.
The cruise itinerary is flexible. You can choose your own itinerary of the day from a choice of suggested pots with assistance of your personal butler who will be at your service 24/24 during your stay in Halong Bay. Lunch and dinner will be served a la carte unlimited order with unlimited house wine, local beer, soft drinks, mineral water, tea and coffee. 

Note: Our tour guide will not be onboard during the cruise

DAY 4 : HALONG BAY – HANOI  (B/-/-)

Early risers can join the Tai Chi session on the sundeck or enjoy some swimming or kayaking.
A la carte breakfast will be served.
Take a tender boat to visit Surprise Cave (Hang Sung Sot in Vietnamese) – explore one of the most spectacular grottoes in Halong Bay.
Return to the boat and set sail back to the pier. Arrive at Tuan Chau Island, pick up and transfer back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi, check into the hotel and have time at leisure.

DAY 5 : HANOI – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
At leisure until your transfer to Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport for your onward flight.

CANCELLATIONS
• Refunds will not be given for unused or cancelled services after the tour arrangements have commenced.

• FIT (Individuals): Cancellation charges are calculated from the day the written notification is received by the company or agent as a percentage of the net total tour price as shown plus any surcharges (e.g. ticketed air sectors, other penalties imposed by suppliers such as hotels):
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  According to the costs incurred will be charged
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 25% of package price
• Between 14 days and 8 days prior to departure: 50% of package price
• Between 07 days and 2 days prior to departure: 75% of package price
• 1 day prior to departure or no show:   100% of package price

• GIT (Groups): Cancellation of tours due to minimum number of participants will be advised 6 weeks before departure of the tour; in which case Happy Go Travel will offer an alternative tour of a similar standard or a full refund. Cancellation policy for GIT bookings will be advised separately case by case.

• HOTEL ONLY
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  no charge
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 60% of accommodation price
• Between 14 days and 0 days prior to departure: 100% of accommodation price

• Certain Hotels impose stricter cancellation policies which will be advised separately.
