DAY 1: HANOI - ARRIVAL (-/-/-)
Meet on arrival of flight .... at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport, SIC transfer with guide to hotel. 
15h00: Take 1-hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarters with a visit of Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake.
In the evening, enjoy Water Puppet Performance at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre opposite to Hoan Kiem Lake.

Breakfast at hotel
Drive to Halong Bay (165 km east of Hanoi), listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 2,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Enjoy a relaxing 04-hour boat trip through Halong Bay, fresh seafood lunch is prepared and served on board (Please let us know if you do not eat seafood).
Drive to Haiphong and check in at hotel.

Drive back to Hanoi to have lunch at local restaurant, then continue to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from OUTSIDE) and his Former Residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and Old Quarter Area to explore the daily life of Hanoi’s citizens in the down town area.

At leisure until transfer to visit Ethnology Museum then drive to Hanoi’s domestic airport for flight to Danang by VN .... (The flight schedule is subject to change without prior notice).

DAY 5: HOI AN (B/L/-)

Known to early Western merchants, Hoi An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Hoi An has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets is still virtually intact. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. During a leisurely discovery tour on foot you will visit some of the historic merchant and community houses, places of worship and famous bridges.
Lunch at local restaurant. A short boat trip across the river brings you to the boat builder’s yard and woodcarvers as well as a pottery and brick making village.

DAY 6: HOIAN -  HUE (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel
We start the spectacular drive overd Hai Van Pass to Hue, the fomer the former Royal City of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties. visit the royal tombs of Tu Duc  before lunch at local restaurant.
Visit the Imperial Citadel with its Forbidden City. Then take a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. If time permits, visit the colorful local market.

Transfer with guide to Hue Airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City by VN .... (The flight schedule is subject to change without prior notice).

In the afternoon, have a city tour: Passing Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office and the former Presidential Palace (photo stop only), then visit the War Museum. Further stops include Tien Hau Pagoda and a visit to one of the bustling markets of the city.

Drive to My Tho (02 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda en route. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island. Lunch at local restaurant.
Late afternoon, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Drive to Cu Chi province (150 km), en route you will have the opportunity to visit local homes producing rice paper and rice wine. Visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Lunch at local restaurant.

• FIT (Individuals): Cancellation charges are calculated from the day the written notification is received by the company or agent as a percentage of the net total tour price as shown plus any surcharges (e.g. ticketed air sectors, other penalties imposed by suppliers such as hotels):
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  According to the costs incurred will be charged
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 25% of package price
• Between 14 days and 8 days prior to departure: 50% of package price
• Between 07 days and 2 days prior to departure: 75% of package price
• 1 day prior to departure or no show:   100% of package price

• GIT (Groups): Cancellation of tours due to minimum number of participants will be advised 6 weeks before departure of the tour; in which case Happy Go Travel will offer an alternative tour of a similar standard or a full refund. Cancellation policy for GIT bookings will be advised separately case by case.

• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  no charge
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 60% of accommodation price
• Between 14 days and 0 days prior to departure: 100% of accommodation price
• Certain Hotels impose stricter cancellation policies which will be advised separately.

• For air ticket reservations, we require the guests’ full names AS THEY APPEAR IN THEIR PASSPORTS. Airfares and reservations are always subject to change until paid in full and ticketed.
