03 DAYS MEKONG DELTA CRUISE ON “L’AMANT” WITH JOINT TRANSFER FROM HO CHI MINH CITY
Joint Cruise (SGNMKCLA03): Departure from Ho Chi Minh City with joint transfer with local English-speaking guide. Cruise on joint basis with English speaking guide onboard.
Departure schedule: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, except each 1st Friday of the month

DAY 1: (HO CHI MINH CITY) – CAI BE – VINH LONG – SA DEC – (HO CHI MINH CITY) (-/L/D)
 Make your way to the meeting point at 09:30 hrs:
Lobby of the Caravelle Hotel at 19 Lam Son Square, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Joint transfer to Cai Be, located in the very heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, board “L’AMANT”. Get acquainted with the crew and enjoy a delicious lunch while the vessel starts its way to Vinh Long.
In the early afternoon, embark on a small boat for a journey towards An Binh islands.  On arrival, continue the tour by bicycle to visit Tien Chau ancient pagoda, some tropical fruit orchard gardens and discover the everyday life in the Mekong Delta. Continue to visit a traditional house and enjoy some mouth-watering tropical fruits.  Then tour on a small boat along the canals and stop at a bonsai garden.

DAY 2 : SA DEC – CAI BE (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Sa Dec, the old-fashioned town where the French writer, Marguerite Duras, spent her childhood. Famous for its flowers and bonsai plants, stop at the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, the “house of the Chinese” described in Marguerite Dura’s novel, L’Amant. Pass-by the school where Marguerite’s mother had taught. Then, enjoy strolling through the lively market streets of this fascinating town.
In the early afternoon, arrive in Cai Be and embark on a local sampan boat for a journey through the numerous arroyos and be captivated by the serenity of the Mekong Delta. Visit an ancient colonial house and a traditional plant for puffed rice. In the late afternoon, have fun in a cooking demonstration on board - an interesting way to learn about the local ingredients and how to cook some Vietnamese traditional dishes. Farewell dinner.

DAY 3 : CAI BE – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/-/-)
In the early morning at 07:00 hrs, embark on a local sampan boat and sail through small arroyos to explore the vibrant Cai Be floating market. Return aboard L’AMANT for breakfast.
Disembark at around 09:30 hrs and return to Ho Chi Minh City by shuttle bus. Arrive at the Caravelle Hotel at around 12:00 hrs or further transfer to Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure at surcharge (accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City is not included).

CANCELLATIONSNS
• Refunds will not be given for unused or cancelled services after the tour arrangements have commenced.

• FIT (Individuals): Cancellation charges are calculated from the day the written notification is received by the company or agent as a percentage of the net total tour price as shown plus any surcharges (e.g. ticketed air sectors, other penalties imposed by suppliers such as hotels):
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  According to the costs incurred will be charged
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 25% of package price
• Between 14 days and 8 days prior to departure: 50% of package price
• Between 07 days and 2 days prior to departure: 75% of package price
• 1 day prior to departure or no show:   100% of package price

• GIT (Groups): Cancellation of tours due to minimum number of participants will be advised 6 weeks before departure of the tour; in which case Happy Go Travel will offer an alternative tour of a similar standard or a full refund. Cancellation policy for GIT bookings will be advised separately case by case.

• HOTEL ONLY
• Between 29- 21 days before departure:  no charge
• Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 60% of accommodation price
• Between 14 days and 0 days prior to departure: 100% of accommodation price

• Certain Hotels impose stricter cancellation policies which will be advised separately.
