Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to King’s Island Golf & Country Club.

The course is designed to fit the setting’s natural contours, taking maximum advantage of the ambience of the waterside setting, distant mountains and surrounding trees. The layout of the golf course will excite and challenge all levels of players. Enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole Lake Side golf course.

WATER PUPPET SHOW

Enjoy a water puppet performance. The Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry has roots that date back to the 10th century when it originated in the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. The farmers in the region celebrated festivals and harvests by performing this unique art form. The puppets are made of wood and usually stand sixteen inches high, but can be as tall as three feet. Puppets are attached to a long bamboo pole and dipped in and out of the water by a person behind a rattan curtain.

Learning to manipulate the puppets is usually a tradition that is passed on as a family secret. It takes a great deal of skill and because the puppeteer’s hands are underwater it is easy for them to hide their methods. The fascinating part is that the central stage is below the water line, and the puppeteers stand in the waist-deep water. A rattan curtain hides them, but they can see the stage and the audience through the bamboo slats.

Opened in 2003, the Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club has established a name for itself as the premier golf club in the north of Vietnam. Designed by the leading Australian Independent Golf Course Services, using the latest technologies and turf grass, the golf course is indeed a worthy masterpiece. Enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole course.

Drive on to Halong City. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 4

Transfer to the Halong tourist pier. Start a 4-hour relaxing and wonderful cruise through World Nature Heritage Halong Bay, passing bizarre rock formations, such as the Dinh Huong (the Incense Urn), Cho Da (the Stone Dog), islands with sandy beaches and Ga Choi (the Fighting Roosters) islets. You will discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty, known in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea“.

The picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. You will visit Thien Cung and Dau Go grottoes situated on the south-west side of the bay, 4 km from the wharf outside of Halong City. During the boat trip fresh seafood fingertips will be served for your delights (please let us know if you do not eat seafood).

Return to the pier and drive back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 5

FULL DAY HANOI City Tour

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and during the entire months of September & October) and his former residence (closed on Monday and Friday), One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam and built more than 1,000 years ago.

Continue the city tour to one of the following museums (Note that museums are closed on Mondays.):

After a delicious lunch at Au Lac restaurant enjoy a leisurely one-hour cyclo tour through Hanoi. Visit the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Hoan Kiem Lake was already considered the most beautiful lake in Hanoi when Ngoc Son Temple was built on an island in the 19^th century. Initially, the temple was called Ngoc Son Pagoda and was later renamed Ngoc Son Temple, since temples are dedicated to saints. Saint Van Suong, considered to be one of the brightest stars in Vietnam's literary and intellectual circles, was worshipped there along with other National heroes.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to the city centre for a half day sightseeing tour.

Formerly known as Saigon, today’s Ho Chi Minh City is the bustling and vibrating economic centre of the South. Over the past few centuries, Saigon was called the “Pearl of the Far East” and was an important trading centre for Chinese, Japanese and Western merchants who travelled along the Saigon River.

Your sightseeing tour includes visiting bustling Cho lon (Chinatown), Thien Hau pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas of the Chinese in the area and colourful Ben Than Market. Notre Dame Cathedral inaugurated in 1880 became the spiritual and cultural crucible of the French presence in the Orient as was the Post office designed by Gustav Eiffel and resembling a grand railway station.

Photo stop at the former Presidential Palace, renowned for its symbolic role in the fall of Saigon in 1975 and continue to visit the War Remnants Museum.

OCEAN DUNES GOLF CLUB

Drive to Dalat, another popular destination for golfers. Dalat is set about 1,500 m above sea level with ideally cool climate all year round. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 12

In the morning, pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Dalat Golf Club.

Indeed, Dalat Palace is one of the few bent grass layouts in South-East Asia, thanks to Dalat’s cooler climate. Enjoy a round of 18-holes.

In the afternoon, transfer to Dalat cable car station. Savour the panoramic views of Dalat from the platform and then board the cable car for an enjoyable ride above pine forests and rolling hills to Truc Lam Pagoda – the largest Institute of Meditation in Vietnam. Visit the pagoda and then take a relaxed boat trip on Tuyen Lam Lake, also known as the lake where rivers, springs and forests meet. Built in the 1980’s, it is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the area.

Lying 1,500 m above sea level and surrounded by pine hills, Dalat has been known as the prime hill resort city thanks to its mild weather, romantic valleys, tranquil lakes surrounded by pine hills, colonial time villas, pagodas and monasteries. Dalat is also the flower festival city of Vietnam.

Visit the bustling local market where farmers came and sell their daily produce. Continue to visit the summer palace of the former emperor Bao Dai. The next stop will be the Hang Nga House, also known as “Crazy House”, a unique piece of art by Madam Viet Nga, a contemporary architect. Finish your tour with a walk through Golden Valley where Bonsais and rare flowers can be admired.

Transfer to Dalat / Lien Khuong Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Cancellations

Refunds will not be given for unused or cancelled services after the tour arrangements have commenced.
FIT (Individuals): Cancellation charges are calculated from the day the written notification is received by the company or agent as a percentage of the net total tour price as shown plus any surcharges (e.g. ticketed air sectors, other penalties imposed by suppliers such as hotels):
Between 29- 21 days before departure: According to the costs incurred will be charged
Between 20 days and 15 days prior to departure: 25% of package price
Between 14 days and 8 days prior to departure: 50% of package price
Between 07 days and 2 days prior to departure: 75% of package price
1 day prior to departure or no show: 100% of package price
GIT (Groups): Cancellation of tours due to minimum number of participants will be advised 6 weeks before departure of the tour; in which case Happy Go Travel will offer an alternative tour of a similar standard or a full refund. Cancellation policy for GIT bookings will be advised separately case by case.

Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on weather, road conditions, flight schedules and room availability.
On weekend and public holidays, priorities are given to Golf Club members. T-off times are subject to availability and at the golf courses managements’ discretion.
Golfers should conform to the Golf Clubs’ rules.
Maximum 4 players for each group. Otherwise, it must conform to the arrangement made by management board.
Group of 1-2 persons shall not be allowed to play at some golf courses during weekend & public holidays.
All golfers shall dress in golfing attire at all times. No jeans, shirts without collar or beach shorts are permitted. Soft spikes are compulsory.
Each Golfer must have a caddy and a set of clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted.
Non-playing golfer’s companions must pay the appropriate fee before accessing the golf courses.
Green fees and caddie fees will be adjusted periodically by the golf courses and in case of the Government's new regulation on VAT and Special Consumption Tax on golf services. Surcharge, if any, will be informed at the time of booking.
Transfer by normal transportation for normal tourists only. If bigger transportation vehicle is requested, surcharges will apply.
